Detailing involves water, chemicals, and machine polishers around your paint. Here is how we protect you when something goes wrong.
Insurance requirement
Every detailer listed on Glossr carries a minimum of $1,000,000 in general liability coverage plus garage-keepers coverage for vehicles left at a shop. We verify certificates before a storefront goes live.
Claim window
Report suspected damage within 7 days of service. Claims filed later are harder to attribute and may be declined.
What we need from you
Clear photos of the affected area, a short description of what changed, and your booking reference. Before-and-after shots speed the review considerably.
Review timeline
Our trust team acknowledges every claim within 24 hours and issues a decision within 3 business days after both sides have submitted evidence.
Resolution
Approved claims are repaired through the detailer's insurer or reimbursed directly by Glossr up to $2,500 while the insurance claim settles. Detailers with repeat verified claims are suspended from the marketplace.
